Adare Manor is a sublime blend of old-world elegance and modern luxury. This neo-Gothic masterpiece, surrounded by lush, meticulously manicured gardens and serene woodlands, offers an enchanting retreat that feels both timeless and refreshingly contemporary.
And, it is against this backdrop where Emma and Lane’s wedding celebrations begin. On a spring weekend in April, wedding planner, Tara Fay, transformed these spaces into a scene straight out of a fairytale.

Adare Manor held a special place in Emma’s heart, being a cherished vacation spot for her Irish grandparents. Her grandmother’s dream of Emma marrying at this historic venue came true, adding layers of sentiment and nostalgia to their celebration.
Emma and Lane’s romance blossomed in Houston, thanks to a blind date arranged by mutual friends. Their love story soon turned into a long-distance relationship when Emma moved to Chicago for a fellowship. Despite the miles, their love only deepened, culminating in a dreamy Central Park proposal. A year and four months later, they celebrated their union with a wedding that was nothing short of magical.

Emma’s wedding attire was a masterpiece of floral design, gracing her dress, veil, and topper. This delicate motif flowed seamlessly throughout the wedding, appearing on stationery and even the cake, creating a cohesive and elegant aesthetic.
The couple’s creativity shone brightly in their custom wedding logo. Inspired by the Rosewood Miramar Hotel’s emblem, Emma worked with Mark Judson Design to create two intertwined W’s, resembling an old-world regal symbol atop a Celtic Knot—a nod to their heritage and unique love story.
The Timeless Elegance of an adare manor wedding
The nuptials took place at the beautiful Trinitarian Abbey in Adare Village as Emma’s proud Father walked his stunning daughter up the aisle. Wearing a Carolina Herrera gown with a high neck and long sleeves, Emma’s timeless elegance channeled icons like Grace Kelly and Kate Middleton, while Lane matched her style with a sophisticated bespoke suit by Mason & Sons.
Irish Charm…
with a Modern Twist
The floral design was masterfully executed by the talented Mark Grehan and embraced the colours of the Irish countryside, blending greens, reds and purples with contemporary flair.
Clare Anne Taylor created a cake that was nothing short of art with delicately sculpted handmade sugar flowers cascading down the sides as if to capture the essence of a wild garden and also tying in the majestic overhead floral installation.
Every detail, from invitations mimicking Adare Manor’s windows to the meticulously planned reception, reflected their impeccable taste and dedication.

Above ~ Guests arriving to the drinks reception are greeted with a magical setting as the grand staircase is adorned with florals before making their way into the spectacular ballroom for dinner, toasts and dancing to the small hours of the morning.
Below ~ The weekend started with Guinness and sing-songs at Auntie Lena’s pub in Adare Village and finished with an unforgettable dance floor and a lifetime of memories in just three short days.
